The FEO Education Group have delivered an FEO Masterclass with a difference to Hull College degree students.
Hull College chose to have their day “off campus” at Hull’s exciting events venue Kardomah94. FEO member Malcolm Scott gave everyone a warm welcome to his unique venue and introduced the lead for the day, fellow member Angela Oldroyd.
Our Entrepreneurial Talk was given by member Graham Jenkinson, this was an inspirational and at times emotional talk about his business journey which captured the whole audience. Joining them throughout the day were FEO members Sue Altass, Alan Hemingway and Max Hodgson who presented topics including Marketing, People, Tax and Finances as well as our new session on Attitude where students are given the opportunity to examine their own attitudes to business - “is your glass half empty or half full?”

After a fabulous Kardomah lunch the day ended in true entrepreneurial fashion with students of mixed abilities and ages presenting back to the FEO Judges with business ideas ranging from wrist bands to aid the deaf to enhanced shopping trollies!
As always, the winning teams were presented with prizes and certificates to recognise their achievements. However, most rewarding for the FEO members attending was the positivity, enthusiasm and energy that came from the students.
