Jonathan is a communications professional who’s been helping people and organisations with PR and communications for over twenty years. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and one of a few to have also achieved Approved Trainer status, Jonathan is a vastly experienced public relations professional in the specific fields of Media, Presentation and Crisis Communication consultancy and training. He delivers media communications workshops on behalf of the PR industry’s professional body.

His work covers communications around many of the aspects of business life – from the launch of new organisations and products to managing communications around closure and redundancy.

Jonathan works alongside a wide range of organisations, including clients from the public, private and charity / voluntary sectors and has worked with a number of emergency services. The training that he provides is tailored to individual participants and their organisation, helping them to communicate effectively under a variety of challenging circumstances.

Having graduated from Manchester University with a degree in management science Jonathan started his working life as an Army Officer commissioned into the Royal Artillery. He won the Leadership Studies Prize at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and his military service included two operational tours. He joined Television & Radio Techniques in 2005 and then in 2002 founded Positive Impact Communications & Training Limited, a specialist communications training consultancy. He acts as a consultant to several organisations including those from the food and drink sector, childcare, education, the NHS and the airline industry.
