Our latest FEO members’ meeting was a night of two halves. Starting at the newly opened iconic C4Di building in the Fruit Market area, members enjoyed an informal drink before heading into the intimate C4Di theatre where FEO members Jon Moss and David Hall gave excellent presentations. Jon focused on why Hull is becoming a Key Player in the fast moving world of Tech and Digital Innovation, and how and why businesses need to stay ahead of the Digital game.
David then presented an informative review of the FEO year in 2015, thanking members for their passion, time, commitment and inspiration. Members jointly give over 5000 hours each year through FEO’s series of programmes and events and David reminded everyone that for entrepreneurs, peer to peer learning is an invaluable resource.
We then crossed the marina to Humber Quays where we took over the 1884 Wine and Tapas restaurant for the rest of the evening. Following a welcome drink, we were treated to a delicious Chef’s selection of Tapas, which along with a few more festive drinks, really hit the spot! Members enjoyed the opportunity to share successes, challenges and recent developments in their businesses in a supportive, peer environment. After all, that’s what FEO is all about.
Thanks to C4Di and 1884 Wine and Tapas for their excellent hospitality, and we hope to return next year.
