Peter Brown

Peter has been with Neill & Brown for more than 53 years, starting as office boy and working his way through to Director, Managing Director and presently CEO.

Neill & Brown, which was established in 1917, is one of the largest private logistic companies in the area with a turnover in excess of £25 million and a workforce exceeding 140 people.

Over the years, Peter has been heavily involved in developing all areas and aspects of the business including guiding members of the team and encouraging their development, which has had a positive effect on the company and its expansion. He has also helped to develop, and forge strong relationships with, the Chamber of Commerce (both in Hull and Lincolnshire), the World Trade Centre Hull & Humber, Bid Angel for Hull2017 and the Bondholders to name but a few. Peter also like to support various charitable causes, predominantly Hull based but nationally too.

Peter’s strong areas are strategic planning and management and he has a good eye for profitability and efficiency. He is the figurehead of Neill & Brown and well known in the world of logistics, not just locally, but nationally and internationally. He is often interviewed for the local and regional media where his deep pride in the company and its employees shines through.

Neill & Brown offers various services including warehousing, UK transport, European transport and a pick & pack facility, along with specialising in abnormal load transportation and having a deep sea shipment operation.
